Darren Yafai, our 2008 Teacher of the Year, urges educators to join our program!

Darren Yafai, the 2008 Stories of Service teacher of the year, is urging educators across America to join him in bringing Stories of Service to their students. Darren, a high school history teacher at Gilroy High School in California brought his entire Sophomore class -- 165 students -- into the program in his first semester. He was recognized for his achievements during special events in Washington, D.C. and New York City over Veterans Day, 2008.
